We finally got to see Camo’s cover band Across the Border play at Beer Fest Friday night. They came on stage before our bed time for once so we went along for a look and to try a few bevies along with Dan and Emily.

It was a bit expensive to get in at $20ea and they had not really thought through the token system as they only had one place you could buy them so the line was huge. There needed to be another token booth at the other end of the venue at least. You could try most things for a couple of tokens ($2) and got enough for a decent taste. A full glass ranged from about 7-9 tokens ($7-$9). They had a good crowd of over 3,500 on Friday night.

Across the Border were great, so much better than the following band a Foo Fighters tribute band that killed every song they did so we left. If you get a chance to see them they play a variety of songs.
