We woke to another nice sunrise and went about packing up the camper and putting it on the back of the truck again. That process took around 1:40 from starting to driving away, we are getting good at this now and have our specific jobs we just do.

We stopped at Paraburdoo the first place with mobile coverage and uploaded a few backed up blogs and checked our email and current information about Exmouth caravan parks and camping in the national park. Paraburdoo exists for the mine only and has no attractions, it did not even rate a mention in the WA towns guide book we had. Barb And Barry Peers son works at the mine here. Paraburdoo did have a brand new looking caravan park with one caravan in it as we left the outskirts of town.

We stopped at a roadside stop for lunch only to find the front passenger side tyre had lost a few PSI. I had suspected it had a slow leak this morning when I repressured the tyres. I found a rivet embedded in between the treads so swapped it for the spare, a very messy job in all the red dust and all the red dust caked onto everything! I can plug it if necessary but will wait till Exmouth and get it repaired properly if we don’t need it before then.

We drove about 515Km in total today to a free roadside stop about 180Km from Exmouth. That should have us arriving at the Exmouth visitors centre about opening time tomorrow.
